Aquarium (2022)

Video Installation
LED Screens | Looping Animation | 20″ each

This project originated from a brief moment during a trip along the shore, where I unexpectedly encountered a real aquarium placed in front of a raw fish restaurant.

This work is a looping video installation composed of short animated sequences centered on the theme of advertising. Presented across LED screens, the series explores the visual strategies that capture attention in public and commercial spaces.

The installation reflects on the intuitive visual language of marketing, and how ambient elements can communicate desire and suggestion more effectively than explicit signage.

In framing the aquarium as a symbol of subtle persuasion, the work invites viewers to consider what draws our eyes — and why.
